Windows Live Wave 3 Part 2 Comming Soon

LiveSide has picked up on some news about the upcoming release of the new Windows Live wave 3 (Also called RC)
Below is a list of some of the services that will get an update.

Windows Live Messenger 9

  • The sign-in window has a totally new look. Simplistic and features a nice “Welcome Back” message
  • Post a note is now enabled, a long with the ability to sort through your contacts update
  • The PhotoShare application give you the ability to save your pictures that your contact shares with you
  • The layout options have been increased due to the high amount of feedback from the beta testers. We now have the ability to:
  • -Sort your categories alphabetically or by status
    -Show your offline contacts in your categories instead of in a separate “Offline” category, or show them in a separate category if you want.
    -Show your offline SMS contacts in their own category.

Lonn a product manager for Windows Live Messenger has posted a video showing more of the new features for Windows Live Messenger 9.

Windows Live Hotmail

Even tho Windows Live Hotmail has just received a update, there is more to come, just take a look at the feature list below.

  • POP Access
  • POP Aggregation
  • Instant Access
  • Web Messenger Integration
  • What’s New Feed integration
  • Ads Position Moved

POP access has previously only been available to paid users, but will be free for all. :)

Windows Live SkyDrive

Windows Live SkyDrive will also receive an update this time, with some quite exciting and much needed features.

  • Increased Storage to 25 GB
  • File Organisation
  • - Download photos directly to Windows Live Photo Gallery
    - Download as a .zip file Download an entire folder in one compressed file (initially available only in the United States, Denmark, and Ireland)
    - Move files between folders and support for copying files to multiple folders

  • File Sharing
  • - Share files and photos without requiring others to use Windows Live ID
    - Share files according to Categories or “Networks” in Windows Live People, instead of having to select individual contacts
    - Integrates with the new Windows Live Toolbar to share your Favorites and keep them in sync.
    - What’s New feed integration

  • Comments with HTML support, new comment options, and spam control
  • More supported countries and regions
  • Windows Live Photos
  • - Bigger thumbnails than previous version
    - Order prints of your photos right from SkyDrive
    - New online slide show that works with any browser
    - People tags similar to Windows Live Photo Gallery, allowing you to tag your contacts – online!
